Yesenia Gomez
Yesenia Gómez is rising fourth year dual degree student from Fullerton, California studying mechanical engineering at Brown University and Industrial Design at Rhode Island School of Design. Yesenia currently works as the dual degree Minority Peer Advisor and a research assistant in Brown University's Harris fluids lab during the school year. Her accomplishments include being selected as an Earl Woods scholar and an Edison scholar, having her art displayed in the US capitol building, and being her high school’s class valedictorian. She values interdisciplinarity and diversity and hopes to combine both design and engineering in her future career and be a mentor for other women of color in engineering.
